    Default Oil painting for Frodo

Thought you all might enjoy a painting I did a few days ago for Frodo/Elijah's birthday
I just adored him in the Trilogy

    Thanks so much!
some day, if I ever meet him, I'll give him this.

I'm glad to see you're getting this site up and running again- a friend from Flickr notified me. I have a decent following over at my Deviantart account...http://cblair.deviantart.com If you like I'll pass the word around

There's a little part of me
That would like to see you cry
Even if it's just one tear
I know it would never dry

Wow, you've got skills! I almost can't believe you actually painted those! Ever thought about making a living out of your artwork?

Awww...thanks!! I did go to art school...I am an artist and webdesigner, but as to making a living at drawing and painting, well it would be wonderful if I could support myself doing this. I'm still pretty new to doing portraits. These are all done traditional style, not digital

You're very welcome ^^ The traditional is always the best.. anyone could make art on the PC, but it takes real skills to paint something like that, and as realistic as that! I bet Elijah would greatly appreciate your artwork if you ever got a chance to present it to him. I mean, even as a celebrity, how often do you get oilpaintings of yourself from a fan?
